For the first 10 months the global stainless steel output has broken a new record, China enjoys the highest growth: 18%; 6.4% for Europe and Asia increased, 6.9 for America.
The global steel output in 2012 is expected to reach 40 millions tons. In fact, stainless steel industry has been free from the global financial crisis and created a new record with 32.2 millions tons.
The falling price of chrome ore has led severe global chrome deficit. Such situation might raise the price of steel-chrome alloy and chrome ore. With the chrome export has been prohibited in Zimbabwe, China may suffer from the deficit also.
The Indian Steel Ministry has requested fully non exportation, only outdoor exploitation is allowed during May to November, so winter will impact global exploitation.
