Recently, from the Vietnamese Steel Association (VSA), the output and sales fell in June, the output of steel for construction was 330,000 tons, 24.6% less than May. Simultaneously, the sales were 30.7% less than May. At present, the Vietnamese steel inventory is 430,000 tons, increased 6.9% than May. About 590,000 tons billets will put into operation in July which breaks the record.
In VSA opinion, the steel supply for construction is plenty in the first half of this year, the sales volume will also increase. However, for the cutting down public investment and poor real-estate market, the sales fell 11.4 in May, June is the worst, about 24.6%.
