SUS304 stainless steel is one Japanese spec and it is magnetic.
In stainless steel: martensitic stainless steel and ferritic stainless steel are magnetic.
Only austenitic stainless steel is non-magnetic, such as 1Cr18Ni9, 0Cr18Ni9 and so on.
